SEPA grant activities

This was a grant funded project that allowed students to learn about Problem-Based Learning.  Problem-based learning (PBL) is a student-centered process and students learn about a subject through the hands-on experience of solving a well defined  problem.

 

Students had the opportunity to explore several careers in the Health Sciences.

Dr. Taylor was awarded the 2018 Esther Katz-Rosen Pre-College Psychology Grant sponsored by the American Psychology Association (APA). She developed the Project Fly High Program  which works with High Ability Students (e.g. Honors and College Ready) on research projects. The programs are designed for who wish to learn more about the undergraduate graduate school experience and possibly pursue an academic career in psychology or research.  

Project Fly High (PFH) activity at University of Tennessee. PFH is Sponsored by the American Psychological Association (APA). Dr. Taylor serves as PI for the project.
